Description
A 48-inch, 4-light island light in oil rubbed bronze with clear, hand-blown glass shades, designed for modern and transitional kitchens that want a warm, inviting glow.
The Preston collection combines classic bulb-shaped glass with a slim, stylish frame. The oil rubbed bronze finish adds depth and character, while the clear glass lets the bulbs shine through for a bright, open feel. With adjustable stems and a sloped ceiling adapter, it's a versatile choice for a range of spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining rooms with a 7-9 foot table, providing even, ambient light
- Open-plan living areas where the island is the focal point
- Vaulted or sloped ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
- Covered patios or porches, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a long drop - the fixture is 11.63 inches tall
- Rooms where you want a bright, task-level light - this is ambient, not a work light
How bright is it?
With four sockets rated for up to 100W each, this fixture can produce up to 4,000 lumens with standard bulbs - enough to light a large island or dining table. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades provide a bright, crisp light that highlights the finish and adds a modern touch. Using 2700K-3000K bulbs will create a warm, inviting ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the occasion.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 48 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 11.63 inches high. It includes two 6-inch and four 12-inch stems for a customizable hanging length of up to 30 inches. The canopy is 4.5 x 6.25 inches. Ideal for ceilings 8-10 feet.
