Description
A 36-inch, 4-light bath vanity light with clear glass shades and a matte black frame, designed for bathrooms and grooming areas.
Part of the Preston Collection, this vanity light combines vintage charm with a modern edge. The jar-shaped, hand-blown glass shades feature delicate fluting, while the sleek matte black frame adds a minimalist touch. The horizontal orientation and rectangular backplate make it a striking addition above a bathroom vanity.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 36-48 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror for even task lighting
- Powder rooms and guest bathrooms, adding a touch of industrial elegance
- Grooming areas and dressing rooms, providing bright, shadow-free light
- Hallways and entryways, used as a statement light fixture
- Damp locations, such as bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Spaces with low ceilings - the fixture extends 7.88 inches from the wall
- Rooms with a modern minimalist aesthetic that prefer simpler, less ornate fixtures
- Outdoor areas without protection from moisture - it is damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
With four sockets rated for up to 100W each, this fixture can produce significant light. Using 60W equivalent LED bulbs, you can expect around 4000-5000 lumens total, enough for a primary bathroom light. The clear glass shades allow maximum light output.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades provide bright, crisp light. The color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose - 3000K warm white is recommended for a flattering, natural look in bathrooms. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch, allowing you to adjust from bright task lighting to a softer ambient glow.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 36 inches wide, 13.5 inches high, and extends 7.88 inches from the wall. The backplate is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. Ideal for vanities 36 inches or wider. The horizontal orientation is designed for mounting above a mirror.
