Description
A 36-inch, 4-light globe-shaped bathroom vanity light in oil rubbed bronze with clear glass shades, perfect for bathroom vanities and makeup areas.
The Preston collection features globe-shaped glass with intricate fluting details, creating a timeless look. The streamlined frame in oil rubbed bronze balances the curves of the glass, making this fixture a chic addition to any space. The clear glass shades allow for maximum light output, ideal for task lighting.
Best for
- Bathroom vanities 48-60 inches wide, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Makeup areas and grooming stations, providing bright, even light
- Powder rooms and guest bathrooms
- Hallways and entryways as a decorative light
- Dressing rooms and walk-in closets
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need to mount it with the shades pointing down
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so with four bulbs you can achieve up to 6400 lumens - bright enough for task lighting in a bathroom. Using lower-wattage LED bulbs will reduce brightness for a softer, more relaxing ambiance.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a bright, clean light ideal for grooming, use 3000K-4000K LED bulbs. The clear glass shades provide direct, bright light with minimal diffusion, making it excellent for tasks. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness.
Sizing and fit
The vanity light measures 36 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 11.75 inches high. It extends 8 inches from the wall. The backplate is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. This size is ideal for a 48-60 inch vanity.
