Description
A 36-inch, 4-light bath vanity light with a matte black finish and clear glass shades, ideal for bathrooms and makeup areas.
The Preston collection combines elongated bell-shaped glass shades with a sleek matte black frame, creating a timeless yet modern look. The fluted detailing on the glass adds texture and sophistication, while the horizontal orientation is perfect for illuminating a vanity. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for bathroom use.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 36-48 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror for even lighting
- Makeup areas, providing bright, shadow-free illumination for grooming tasks
- Powder rooms, adding a touch of industrial elegance
- Dressing rooms or walk-in closets, offering ample light for getting ready
- Hallways or entryways, as a stylish accent light
Not ideal for
- Small powder rooms with limited wall space, as the 36-inch width requires a wide mounting area
- Spaces with low ceilings, as the fixture extends 7.63 inches from the wall
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, despite its damp rating
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts four 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), which can produce up to 6400 lumens total - enough for bright task lighting in a bathroom.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. With warm LED bulbs, you'll get a flattering glow for makeup application. The clear glass shades allow light to pass through freely, maximizing brightness. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This vanity light measures 36 inches wide, 7.63 inches deep, and 13.5 inches high, with a rectangular backplate. It is designed for horizontal mounting and requires hardwiring. The fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for bathrooms.
