Description
A 26-inch wide, 3-light bathroom vanity light from the Preston Collection, finished in satin gold with clear hand-blown glass shades - perfect for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Preston bath light combines vintage charm with a modern edge. The jar-shaped glass shades feature delicate fluting, while the sleek Arcadia frame in satin gold adds a contemporary touch. This striking contrast makes it a focal point above any vanity. The hand-blown glass and heavy cast backplate ensure durability and style.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 36-48 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms, adding a touch of elegance and ample illumination
- Dressing areas or makeup stations, providing bright, even light
- Hallways or entryways with a modern or transitional aesthetic
- Spaces with damp conditions, as this fixture is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings (under 7 ft) where the 13.5-inch height may be too tall
- Rooms with a strictly traditional or rustic decor, as the design is more modern
How bright is it?
With three 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce up to 4500 lumens - bright enough for task lighting in a bathroom. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard incandescent bulbs, you'll get a warm, inviting glow around 2700K. For a cooler, more energizing light, opt for LED bulbs with a higher color temperature. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This vanity light measures 26 inches wide, 7.88 inches deep, and 13.5 inches high, with a 7.88-inch extension from the wall. It is designed for horizontal mounting and works well above a 36-48 inch vanity. The backplate is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches high. It weighs 10 lbs, so ensure proper wall support.
