Description
A 25-inch three-light globe semi-flush mount for kitchens and dining rooms, finished in brushed brass with clear hand-blown glass.
The Preston collection pairs a streamlined Arcadia frame with globe-shaped glass featuring intricate fluting. The balance between the globe's curves and the sleek metal creates a chic, timeless look that works in both modern and transitional spaces. The brushed brass finish adds warmth, while the clear glass keeps the light airy and bright.
Best for
- Kitchens over an island or breakfast nook, providing ambient light for meal prep and dining
- Dining rooms, hung above a table to create a warm gathering spot
- Entryways and foyers, making a statement with its globe silhouette
- Living rooms with 8-foot or higher ceilings, as a central light source
- Hallways and landings, offering even illumination
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces with low ceilings under 7 feet, as the fixture hangs 11.88 inches
How bright is it?
With three sockets rated for 100 watts each, this fixture can produce up to 3,000 lumens if using 100W equivalent LED bulbs - bright enough for a primary light in a medium-sized room. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose; bulbs are not included.
Light color and feel
The fixture itself does not determine light color; it depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow, choose bulbs with a color temperature around 2700K-3000K. The clear glass shade lets the bulb's light shine through unobstructed, making it ideal for showcasing vintage-style filament bulbs.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 24.5 inches in diameter and 11.88 inches in height. It's best for rooms with at least 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 2.7 lbs.
