Description
A 24-inch three-light semi-flush mount ceiling light with clear glass shades, finished in brushed satin nickel, for kitchens, dining rooms, and living areas.
The Preston collection combines vintage jar-shaped glass with a sleek, modern frame. The clear glass shades showcase the bulbs, while the brushed satin nickel finish adds a contemporary touch. This fixture is perfect for those who appreciate a blend of old and new.
Best for
- Kitchens over a large island or dining table, providing bright, even light
- Dining rooms, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Living rooms with high ceilings, as a statement piece
- Entryways with a modern or transitional aesthetic
- Covered porches or sunrooms, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Outdoor areas exposed to rain, as it is not wet-rated
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
This fixture uses three 100-watt incandescent bulbs (not included) and is dimmable. The actual lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose; with three standard 100W bulbs, you can expect around 4800 lumens, similar to three traditional 100W incandescent bulbs, suitable for ambient lighting in large rooms.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades provide a bright, unobstructed light that highlights the bulbs. The color temperature is determined by the bulbs; for a warm, incandescent-like feel, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 24.25 inches wide and 13.63 inches high, making it ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. It projects only a few inches from the ceiling, so it won't obstruct walkways. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
