Description
This 24-inch three-light semi-flush mount from the Preston Collection brings a refined industrial look to kitchens and dining rooms, finished in satin gold with mercury glass shades.
The elongated bell-shaped glass shades, hand-blown for a unique texture, pair with a sleek metal frame to create a timeless yet modern silhouette. The fluted detailing adds sophistication, while the satin gold finish and mercury glass provide a warm, reflective glow. Ideal for adding ambient light to medium-sized spaces.
Best for
- Kitchens with islands or breakfast nooks, mounted over a table or counter for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms with tables up to 48 inches long, providing even ambient light
- Entryways and hallways with 8-10 foot ceilings, as a statement fixture
- Living rooms with a seating area, offering soft, diffused light
- Bedrooms with a sitting area or reading nook, for a cozy atmosphere
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor covered patios or porches - not rated for wet locations
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, as the fixture hangs 13.63 inches and may feel too low
How bright is it?
This fixture uses three 100-watt maximum bulbs (not included), so brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard 60W incandescent bulbs, expect around 800 lumens per bulb, totaling about 2400 lumens - enough for ambient lighting in a medium room. For a brighter output, use LED or halogen bulbs.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a soft evening ambiance. The color temperature will depend on the bulbs you select; for a warm, incandescent-like feel, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 23.75 inches wide by 13.63 inches high. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. This semi-flush mount is best for rooms with ceilings at least 8 feet high. It is not sloped ceiling adaptable, so it requires a flat ceiling.
