Description
A 24-inch wide, three-light semi-flush mount from the Preston Collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with clear hand-blown glass globes - a modern transitional choice for entryways and dining rooms.
The Preston combines a slim, stylish frame with classic bulb-shaped glass that features beautiful fluting. The clear glass globes let you choose your own bulbs, from vintage Edison to modern LED, to create the ambiance you want. Rated for damp locations, it's versatile enough for covered patios as well.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers with 8-10 foot ceilings, providing a warm welcome
- Dining rooms, hung above a table for ambient light
- Living rooms and bedrooms needing a flush-mount light with style
- Covered patios or porches - damp-rated for protection against moisture
- Modern, transitional, or industrial interiors that appreciate hand-blown glass
Not ideal for
- Rooms with sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - it's designed for ambient illumination
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you prefer a flush mount with a lower profile
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose (not included). With three 100W equivalent LED bulbs, you can achieve over 4000 lumens - enough to light a medium-sized room. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or vintage-style bulbs.
Light color and feel
The clear glass globes let the bulb's color temperature shine through. For a warm, inviting feel, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the light to suit the occasion.
Sizing and fit
At 23.75 inches in diameter and 12.63 inches high, this semi-flush mount works well in rooms with standard 8-9 foot ceilings. It's not sloped-ceiling adaptable, so ensure your ceiling is flat. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
