Description
An 18-inch, 3-light chandelier for dining rooms and kitchen islands, finished in matte black with clear glass shades.
From the Preston Collection, this chandelier features a jar-shaped glass design with delicate fluting, blending vintage charm with a modern, minimalist frame. The matte black finish and clear glass create a striking contrast that works well in industrial, transitional, and contemporary interiors. The adjustable stem allows for customizable hanging heights, and the swivel adapts to sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Dining rooms, hung 30-36 inches above the table for focused task lighting
- Kitchen islands, providing ambient and task light over a 4-6 foot island
- Living rooms and great rooms, as a statement piece over a coffee table or seating area
- Entryways and foyers, making a dramatic first impression
- Bedrooms, as a stylish alternative to a flush mount
Not ideal for
- Spaces with low ceilings (under 8 feet), as the minimum hanging height is 15.5 inches
- Bathrooms with direct water exposure, though it is damp rated, it is not wet rated
- Rooms requiring a soft, diffused light, as the clear glass shades expose the bulbs directly
How bright is it?
With three sockets rated for up to 100W each (bulbs not included), this chandelier can produce up to 3000 lumens, comparable to three 100W incandescent bulbs. This is sufficient for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms, and can be dimmed to create a softer glow.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, so the light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting feel, select 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness and mood. The open design creates a sparkling effect, especially with filament bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 17.63 inches wide by 13.75 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 15.5 to 39.5 inches using the included stems. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It is suitable for rooms with 8-10 foot ceilings, and the swivel allows for sloped ceiling installation.
