Description
A 3-light jar-shaped chandelier with a vintage-inspired silhouette and a modern industrial frame, ideal for dining rooms and entryways.
The Preston chandelier combines hand-blown mercury glass shades with a sleek antique brass frame, creating a striking contrast that bridges vintage charm and contemporary design. The fluted glass adds texture, while the adjustable stems allow for customized hanging heights.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables 48-60 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 8 feet or higher, making a statement at eye level
- Open-plan living areas where a transitional or industrial accent is desired
- Bedrooms with a seating area or reading nook, providing ambient light
- Kitchen islands or breakfast bars, hung in multiples for larger spaces
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 30-inch hanging length
- Rooms requiring bright task lighting - this is an ambient fixture, not a work light
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to 100W (total 300W), but lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose. With typical 60W equivalent LED bulbs, expect around 800 lumens per bulb - enough for ambient dining or entryway lighting, not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright and welcoming to soft and intimate. The mercury glass shades diffuse light gently, creating a warm, glowing effect that flatters skin tones and complements wood and brass interiors.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 17.63 inches wide by 17.63 inches deep by 13.75 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 15.5 to 39.5 inches using the included 6-inch and two 12-inch stems. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 4 lbs.
