Description
An 18-inch, 3-light globe chandelier in satin nickel with clear glass shades - a chic centerpiece for dining rooms, kitchen islands, and entryways.
The Preston chandelier features hand-blown globe-shaped glass with intricate fluting, paired with a streamlined satin nickel frame. This balance of curves and clean lines creates a timeless, elegant look that fits modern, transitional, and vintage-inspired interiors. The fixture is damp-rated and includes stems for customizable hanging lengths, making it versatile for various ceiling heights.
Best for
- Dining rooms, centered above a table to provide warm, ambient light
- Kitchen islands, adding a stylish focal point and task lighting
- Entryways and foyers, making a grand first impression
- Living rooms with high ceilings, as a statement piece
- Bedrooms, hung above a seating area or as a dramatic centerpiece
Not ideal for
- Small rooms with low ceilings, as the minimum hanging height is 15.5 inches
- Spaces needing bright, focused task lighting - this is more of an ambient fixture
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With three sockets, each rated up to 100 watts, you can achieve a total of up to 300 watts (or equivalent LED lumens). For a warm, ambient glow, consider using 60-watt equivalent LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The light color will depend on the bulbs you select. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, choose bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The clear glass shades allow the bulbs to be visible, so consider vintage-style or filament bulbs for a decorative look.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 17.63 inches in length and width, with a height of 12 inches. The hanging height is adjustable from 15.5 to 39.5 inches using the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch). It includes a 90-degree swivel for sloped ceilings, and the canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
