Description
A three-light globe chandelier with hand-blown fluted glass shades and a streamlined champagne bronze frame, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Preston collection pairs the timeless elegance of fluted globe glass with a sleek, modern frame. The champagne bronze finish adds warmth, while the clear glass shades allow the light to shine beautifully. This chandelier offers both form and function, making it a chic addition to any space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and dining tables, providing ambient light over a 4-6 ft surface
- Open-concept living areas with 8-10 ft ceilings, hung at the recommended height
- Entryways and foyers, making a statement with its globe silhouette
- Breakfast nooks and eat-in kitchens, adding a touch of elegance
- Homes with sloped or vaulted ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, as the fixture is not fully enclosed
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging length is 15.5 inches
- Areas requiring bright task lighting, as this is primarily an ambient fixture
How bright is it?
With three 100-watt maximum sockets (bulbs not included), you can achieve up to 4500 lumens if using 100W equivalent LED bulbs. That's about as bright as three 60W incandescent bulbs, ideal for ambient lighting over a dining table or island.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The clear glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a pleasant ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The chandelier measures 17.63 inches wide and 12 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 15.5 to 39.5 inches using the included stems. It suits rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
