Description
An 18-inch, 3-light chandelier from the Preston Collection, finished in matte black with mercury glass shades - perfect for dining rooms and kitchen islands.
The Preston chandelier features a classic bulb-shaped glass with beautiful fluting, complemented by the slim and stylish Arcadia frame. The combination of the bulb's rounded silhouette and the sleek design makes this fixture a perfect choice for modern and transitional interiors, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. The matte black finish and mercury glass shades add a touch of vintage-industrial charm.
Best for
- Dining rooms, hung 30-36 inches above the table for focused task lighting
- Kitchen islands, providing ambient and task lighting for food preparation
- Entryways and foyers, making a statement with its classic silhouette
- Spaces with sloped or vaulted ceilings, thanks to the included 90-degree swivel
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations, but not wet locations
- Spaces with low ceilings if you need the full 30-inch hanging length - the minimum height is 15.5 inches
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but each socket is rated for up to 100 watts, so you can use bulbs to achieve your desired brightness. For a dining room, we recommend using three 60W equivalent LED bulbs for a warm, inviting glow.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, cozy ambiance, select bulbs with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. The mercury glass shades diffuse the light, creating a soft, flattering glow.
Sizing and fit
This chandelier measures 17.63 inches in length and width, and 12.75 inches in height. The hanging height is adjustable from 15.5 to 39.5 inches, using the included one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. The fixture weighs 4 pounds.
