Description
A 16-inch, two-light bathroom vanity light from the Preston Collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with mercury glass shades - ideal for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Preston bath light pairs an elongated bell-shaped glass shade with a sleek Arcadia frame, blending timeless elegance with modern appeal. The fluted detailing on the glass adds texture and sophistication, while the clean lines of the frame enhance its contemporary look. This fixture is a refined yet functional addition to any home.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms and guest bathrooms where a warm, inviting glow is desired
- Hallways and entryways with a damp-rated ceiling or wall surface
- Transitional or industrial-style interiors that appreciate hand-blown glass details
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces with low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount - this fixture extends 7.63 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts two 100-watt maximum bulbs (not included), so brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard 60W incandescent bulbs, you can expect about 800 lumens per bulb - enough for task lighting at a vanity. LED or CFL equivalents can provide similar brightness with less energy.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shades diffuse light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a soft evening ambiance. For best results, use dimmable LED bulbs with a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 16 inches wide, 7.63 inches deep, and 13.5 inches high. The backplate is 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches high, with a 0.75-inch extension. This fixture is designed for horizontal mounting on a wall and is suitable for bathrooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
