Description
A 7-inch jar-shaped wall sconce from the Preston collection, finished in satin gold with a clear glass shade, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
This sconce features a fluted jar-shaped glass shade that nods to vintage charm while the sleek satin gold frame keeps it modern. The clear glass allows the bulb to be a design element, making it a striking addition to industrial, transitional, and contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading light beside the bed or above a nightstand
- Hallways and corridors, providing ambient accent lighting
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Entryways, adding a warm welcome near the door
- Dining rooms, used as accent lighting on a feature wall
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover - this sconce is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you need the fixture to be flush - it extends 7.88 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for accent or ambient lighting in a bedroom or hallway, but not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but with a compatible LED or incandescent bulb you can choose a warm white (2700K-3000K) for a cozy, inviting glow. The clear glass lets the bulb's light shine directly, creating a bright, crisp effect. Dimmable with compatible dimmer and bulb.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7.88 inches long, 6.75 inches wide, and 13.5 inches high, with a 7.88-inch extension from the wall. The backplate measures 4.5 inches wide by 6.25 inches high. Ideal for walls with standard stud spacing.
