Innovations Preston 7in 1-Light Semi-Flush | Industrial Matte Black and Mercury Glass | Entryway & Hallway | Model 716-1C-BK-G460-7ME

A 7-inch, one-light semi-flush mount from the Preston collection, finished in matte black with a mercury glass shade - ideal for entryways and hallways.

This jar-shaped glass fixture, with delicate fluting, offers a nod to vintage charm while maintaining a modern edge with the sleek frame. The fusion of the jar silhouette and the minimalist matte black frame creates a striking visual contrast that will elevate any room's design. The mercury glass shade adds a touch of antique elegance.

Best for

• Entryways and foyers, mounted at a height that provides a warm welcome without obstructing sightlines.
• Hallways and corridors, spaced evenly to create a rhythmic path of light.
• Bedrooms, as a soft ambient light source when mounted on a dimmer.
• Living rooms with low ceilings, where a flush mount keeps headroom clear.
• Dining nooks or breakfast areas, providing a cozy, intimate glow.

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations, so it can handle humidity but not direct water exposure.
• Spaces with ceilings under 7 feet, as the fixture extends 13.25 inches from the ceiling.
• Rooms that need bright task lighting, as this is a single-bulb fixture.

How bright is it?

With a single 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), you can expect around 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.

Light color and feel

The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow that complements the matte black and mercury glass, choose a bulb with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. This creates a cozy, golden tone that flatters wood and neutral interiors. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood from bright to soft.

Sizing and fit

The fixture measures 6.75 inches in diameter and 13.25 inches in height. It is designed for ceilings at least 7 feet high. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, covering a standard junction box. It is not sloped ceiling adaptable, so it is best for flat ceilings.
