Description
A 7-inch, 1-light semi-flush mount in antique brass with a mercury glass shade, perfect for entryways and hallways.
Part of the Preston Collection, this semi-flush mount features a jar-shaped mercury glass shade with delicate fluting, blending vintage charm with a modern edge. The antique brass metal frame and hand-blown glass create a striking contrast that elevates any room. It's damp rated, making it suitable for covered porches or bathrooms.
Best for
- Entryways and hallways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Covered patios or porches, as it is damp rated
- Bathrooms with adequate clearance, adding a vintage touch
- Spaces needing a dimmable, warm glow with a unique glass silhouette
Not ideal for
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Outdoor areas with direct rain exposure, as it is only damp rated
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting, as it uses a single bulb
How bright is it?
With a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture provides approximately 1600 lumens, similar to a 100W incandescent. This is suitable for ambient lighting in entryways or hallways, but not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. The antique brass finish adds a vintage feel, while the clear glass allows the bulb to be visible, adding to the industrial aesthetic.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6.75 inches in diameter and 13.25 inches in height. It is designed for standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It weighs 2.7 lbs.
