Description
A 7-inch one-light mini pendant from the Preston collection, finished in antique brass with clear glass - a vintage-modern accent for kitchen islands and entryways.
The Preston mini pendant features a jar-shaped clear glass shade with delicate fluting, evoking vintage charm while the sleek antique brass frame adds a modern edge. The hand-blown glass and minimalist design create a striking visual contrast that elevates any room. With a 120-inch adjustable cord, it offers flexible installation options.
Best for
- Kitchen islands or peninsulas, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient lighting.
- Entryways and hallways, providing a warm welcome and a touch of vintage style.
- Dining nooks or breakfast bars, creating an intimate atmosphere.
- Living rooms with a seating area, as a decorative accent light.
- Bedrooms with a reading nook, offering focused light over a chair or table.
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations.
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 16.38 inches and may feel too low.
- Rooms where a single point of light is preferred, as this is a mini pendant best used in multiples.
How bright is it?
This pendant is rated for one 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens. That's roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb, providing bright ambient light for a kitchen island or entryway. For a softer glow, you can use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade allows the bulb to be visible, creating a bright, crisp light. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness and mood. For a warmer feel, choose a bulb with a color temperature around 2700K.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 6.75 inches in diameter and 12.5 inches high, with an adjustable height range from 16.38 to 133.38 inches. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 2.6 pounds. It is sloped ceiling compatible, and the 120-inch cord can be cut to your desired length.
