Description
A 7-inch, 1-light globe mini pendant in oil rubbed bronze with mercury glass, perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.
From the Preston collection, this pendant features a hand-blown glass globe with intricate fluting, paired with a streamlined metal frame in oil rubbed bronze. The mercury glass shade adds a vintage, elegant touch. It includes adjustable stems for customizable hanging length.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms, providing ambient light over a table
- Entryways or hallways, adding a decorative accent
- Damp locations such as covered patios or bathrooms
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary lighting - this is a mini pendant with a single bulb
- Spaces with very low ceilings - the minimum hanging height is about 17.5 inches
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With a maximum 100W bulb, it can provide decent brightness for a small area, similar to a 100W incandescent bulb. For reference, a 100W incandescent produces about 1600 lumens.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, warm glow. Color temperature depends on the bulb; using a warm white LED (2700-3000K) will enhance the vintage feel.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 7 inches in diameter and 10.63 inches high. It includes one 6-inch and two 12-inch stems, allowing a customizable hanging length up to 30 inches. The overall height ranges from 17.51 to 41.51 inches. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
