Description
A single-light globe mini pendant from the Preston collection, finished in antique brass with a mercury glass shade, perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The globe-shaped glass with intricate fluting detailing creates a timeless look, made even more elegant when paired with the streamlined Arcadia frame. The balance between the globe's curves and the sleek frame makes this fixture a chic addition to any space, offering both form and function.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms and breakfast bars, providing focused illumination over a table
- Entryways and hallways, adding a touch of industrial charm
- Coffee bars and home offices, as a stylish accent light
Not ideal for
- Large open living areas where a single fixture would be too small
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, as the glass shade may show water spots
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but it accepts a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a counter or table.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a gentle, ambient effect.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 7 inches wide and 10.75 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 14.63 to 131.63 inches via a 120-inch cord. It works well under standard 8-foot ceilings and can be adjusted for sloped ceilings.
