Description
A 6-inch semi-flush mount light with a bell-shaped mercury glass shade and champagne bronze finish, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and other indoor spaces.
The Preston collection combines an elongated bell glass shade with a sleek metal frame, creating a timeless yet modern look. The fluted detailing on the glass adds texture and sophistication, while the champagne bronze finish enhances its warm, industrial appeal. This fixture is perfect for adding a refined accent to entryways, dining areas, or living spaces.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, mounted as a central light or above a seating area
- Hallways and corridors needing a compact, low-profile light source
- Entryways and foyers, providing a warm welcome without overwhelming the space
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas, where its soft glow creates a cozy atmosphere
- Living rooms with lower ceilings, as an alternative to a pendant or chandelier
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Outdoor areas without protection from rain or moisture
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
This fixture uses one 100W incandescent bulb (not included) and is compatible with LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. The actual brightness depends on the bulb you choose; with a 100W incandescent, you can expect around 1600 lumens, which is suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The light color is determined by the bulb you select. For a warm, cozy atmosphere, choose a bulb with a color temperature of 2700K-3000K. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a gentle, inviting ambiance.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount has overall dimensions of 6.25 inches in length, width, and height. The shade measures 6.25 inches in diameter and 8.75 inches in height. It is designed for ceilings with standard height, and the canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. The fixture weighs only 2.7 lbs, making it easy to install. It is not suitable for sloped ceilings.
