Description
A 6-inch wide, 1-light semi-flush mount with an antique brass finish and mercury glass shade, perfect for hallways and entryways.
The Preston collection features an elongated bell glass shade paired with a sleek frame, bringing timeless elegance to any space. The fluted detailing adds texture and sophistication, while the clean lines of the frame enhance its modern appeal. The antique brass finish and mercury glass create a vintage-industrial look that works well in transitional and modern interiors.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Bedrooms as a soft, decorative ceiling light
- Dining rooms with lower ceilings where a pendant would be too low
- Damp-rated locations such as covered patios or bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms needing bright, primary lighting, as it is a single 100-watt fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified, but it is rated for a maximum 100-watt incandescent bulb. A 100-watt incandescent produces about 1600 lumens - similar to a 100W bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb used. With a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the light will be soft and inviting, complementing the mercury glass shade. The mercury glass diffuses light, creating a gentle glow.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6.25 inches in diameter and 13.25 inches in height. It mounts flush to the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
