Description
A 6-inch wall sconce from the Preston collection, finished in champagne bronze with a clear fluted glass shade, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
This sconce features an elongated bell-shaped glass with fluted detailing, adding texture and sophistication. The champagne bronze finish is warm and elegant, while the clean lines of the frame give it a modern yet transitional appeal. It's a refined choice for adding ambient light to a room.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading light or above a dresser
- Hallways and corridors, providing accent lighting along a wall
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or artwork
- Dining rooms, adding ambient light on a feature wall
- Covered porches or patios, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms as a primary light source, as the single 100W bulb may be insufficient
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, if you prefer a brighter fixture
- Spaces with very low ceilings, though the 13-inch height is modest
How bright is it?
With a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture produces about 220 lumens - roughly the brightness of a 25W incandescent, suitable for accent or ambient lighting. For more light, you can use a higher-wattage bulb up to 100W or an LED equivalent.
Light color and feel
The bulb color temperature is not specified, but with a standard incandescent bulb, it will produce a warm, inviting glow. The clear glass shade allows the bulb to be visible, adding a decorative element. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 7.63 inches long, 6.25 inches wide, and 13.5 inches high, with a backplate of 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. It extends 7.63 inches from the wall. It's suitable for standard 8-9 ft ceilings and can be mounted vertically.
