Description
A 6-inch, 1-light mini pendant from the Preston Collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with a mercury glass shade - perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Preston mini pendant features an elongated bell-shaped mercury glass shade that adds texture and sophistication to any space. The oil rubbed bronze metal frame and hand-blown glass create a timeless, industrial-modern look. With a 120-inch adjustable cord and sloped ceiling compatibility, it offers flexible installation.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms, providing ambient light over a table or breakfast bar
- Entryways or hallways, adding a decorative focal point
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as it is adaptable
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - rated for damp, not wet locations
- Rooms with very low ceilings if you need the full 120-inch cord - it can be cut to length
- Those preferring a non-dimmable fixture or who do not want to install a dimmer
How bright is it?
This pendant accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a 100W equivalent LED bulb, you can achieve around 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a small island or ambient light in a dining nook. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage bulb or dimmer.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light with a subtle, reflective quality, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness. Choose warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) to enhance the vintage feel.
Sizing and fit
The shade measures 6.25 inches in diameter and 8.75 inches high, with an overall height of 12.5 inches. The cord length is 120 inches, adjustable from 16.38 to 133.38 inches, making it suitable for ceilings from 8 to 12 feet. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter.
