Innovations Preston 6in 1-Light Semi-Flush | Satin Gold and Mercury Glass | Bedroom & Hallway | 6 x 6 x 12 in | Model 716-1C-SG-G459-6ME

A 6-inch semi-flush mount ceiling light with a mercury glass globe and satin gold frame, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and other spaces with lower ceilings.

The Preston collection pairs a classic fluted glass globe with a slim, modern frame. The satin gold finish and mercury glass shade create a warm, inviting glow that suits both modern and transitional interiors. Hand-blown glass adds a touch of artisanal quality.

Best for

• Bedrooms with 8-foot ceilings, mounted flush to the ceiling to save space
• Hallways and entryways needing ambient light without a hanging fixture
• Dining nooks and breakfast areas where a low-profile light is preferred
• Living rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings, providing soft general illumination
• Covered porches or bathrooms, as it is damp-rated for moisture resistance

Not ideal for

• Large rooms over 200 sq ft that need bright, task-level lighting - this is an accent fixture
• Sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
• Spaces where you want a dramatic, oversized statement piece

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a single 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 60W equivalent LED, expect a soft, ambient glow suitable for relaxation, not for tasks like reading or cooking.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The mercury glass shade diffuses light, creating a warm, even glow that flatters skin tones and complements wood and brass accents. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood with a compatible dimmer switch.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 6.25 inches wide by 12.25 inches high, with a 4.88-inch canopy. It is designed for standard 8-foot ceilings and works best in rooms up to 150 square feet. The flush mount design keeps it close to the ceiling, making it ideal for low-clearance areas.
