Description
A 7-inch wall sconce from the Owego Collection, finished in polished nickel with a clear glass teardrop shade - a modern geometric accent for bathrooms, hallways, and powder rooms.
The Owego Collection pairs a sharply squared-off metal frame with a round glass holder and a cylindrical teardrop shade, creating a striking play of angles and curves. Hand-blown glass and a heavy cast backplate give it a substantial, quality feel. This sconce works beautifully as a pair flanking a bathroom mirror or alone in a hallway.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 in vanity, mounted in pairs on either side of the mirror
- Powder rooms and hallways, placed at eye level for ambient accent light
- Bedrooms as a reading sconce beside the bed, mounted 60 in above the floor
- Entryways and stair landings where a compact, sculptural light adds interest
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing primary illumination - this is an accent light, not a main light source
- Covered outdoor areas if you prefer a fixture with a more traditional outdoor look
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With a 60W incandescent bulb (not included), expect roughly 800 lumens - comparable to a standard household bulb, suitable for accent and ambient lighting rather than task lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature not specified. If using a 2700K-3000K LED bulb, the light will be warm and inviting, flattering to skin tones and warm finishes like polished nickel. The clear glass shade allows the bulb to be visible, so consider a vintage-style filament bulb for a decorative look.
Sizing and fit
Dimensions: 7.38"(L) x 7"(W) x 17.5"(H), with a 7.38" extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.38"(W) x 8"(H). This sconce suits walls with standard 8-9 ft ceilings and works well in narrow spaces due to its modest projection.
