Description
A 37-inch wide, 5-light linear pendant from the Owego Collection, finished in polished nickel with smoke glass teardrop shades - a dramatic Art Deco statement for kitchen islands and dining tables.
The Owego linear pendant features five organic teardrop glass shades in a light smoke finish, suspended from a polished nickel frame. The design is both elegant and contemporary, with a tiered structure that adds depth. The 120-inch cords can be cut to your desired length, and the pendants can be hung at staggered heights for a custom look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, centered over the table for a dramatic focal point
- Open-plan living areas that need a statement light with Art Deco flair
- Covered patios or porches - rated for damp locations
- Contemporary interiors that appreciate geometric, tiered designs
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated, but not wet rated
- Small rooms with low ceilings - the minimum height is 24.88 inches, but the canopy is 36 inches wide, requiring ample space
- Minimalist spaces that prefer simple, understated lighting
How bright is it?
With five 100W incandescent bulbs (sold separately), each providing 220 lumens, the total output is about 1100 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 75W incandescent bulb. This is sufficient for ambient lighting in a medium to large room, but not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
The recommended T-series bulbs emit a warm 2200K light - a soft, amber glow similar to vintage Edison bulbs. The smoke glass shades diffuse the light, creating a gentle, atmospheric effect. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit the occasion.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 36.88 inches wide and 11.25 inches high, with an adjustable height range of 24.88 to 132.88 inches. The canopy is 36 inches wide. It's designed for sloped ceilings. Ideal for rooms with ceilings 9 feet or higher.
