Description
A 49-inch wide linear pendant with four teardrop glass shades in light smoke, finished in polished nickel, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Owego pendant from Innovations Lighting features an art deco-inspired design with organic teardrop glass shades suspended from a tiered metal frame. The polished nickel finish on steel and cast brass adds a touch of elegance, while the smoke glass diffuses light softly. This linear pendant is perfect for adding a statement to your kitchen or dining space, and it can be hung at staggered heights for a custom look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands measuring 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the countertop
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, centered for even light distribution
- Open-plan living areas where a linear pendant serves as a focal point
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Contemporary or art deco interiors that appreciate geometric and organic forms
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp, not wet, locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the fixture hangs down and may obstruct movement
- Rooms where a very bright, primary light source is needed, as it uses 100W incandescent bulbs (not included) and may not provide enough light if using lower-wattage LED replacements
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture is rated for up to 100W per socket, so with four 100W incandescent bulbs, it can produce around 6000 lumens - very bright, suitable for large kitchens. With LED replacements, you can achieve similar brightness with less energy.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, cozy feel, choose 2700K-3000K bulbs. The smoke glass shades soften and diffuse the light, reducing glare and creating a warm ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness to suit different occasions.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 49 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 11 inches high. It includes 120 inches of adjustable cord, allowing you to customize the hanging height. The minimum hanging height is 24.88 inches, and the maximum is 132.88 inches. Ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher, with the fixture hanging 30-36 inches above a counter or table.
