Description
A 4-inch wall sconce from the Owego collection, finished in satin nickel with a light smoke glass shade - ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and living spaces.
The Owego collection combines modern geometric design with a softened touch. This sconce features a sharply squared-off frame, balanced by a round glass holder that secures a cylindrical teardrop shade. The hand-blown glass and satin nickel finish create a contemporary yet vintage-inspired look. It's a versatile choice for adding ambient or accent lighting to any room.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as reading sconces beside the bed
- Hallways and staircases, providing ambient light along the path
- Living rooms, flanking a fireplace or media console
- Dining rooms, used as accent lighting on a feature wall
- Bathrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction (if applicable)
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing high brightness - this is a 60W incandescent fixture, not a primary light source
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the sconce extends 6.75 inches from the wall
- Outdoor areas without proper weatherproofing - this is rated for damp locations, not wet
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer, but with a 60W incandescent bulb, it's roughly 800 lumens - about as bright as a 60W incandescent bulb, suitable for accent or ambient light, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb used. With a standard incandescent bulb, it emits a warm, golden glow. The light smoke glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a cozy atmosphere. Dimmable with compatible dimmers.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 6.75 inches wide by 4.75 inches deep by 16 inches high, with a 6.75-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.38 inches wide by 8 inches high. Works well in hallways, bedrooms, and living spaces with standard 8-foot ceilings.
