Description
A 4-inch wall sconce from the Owego Collection, finished in brushed brass with a mercury glass shade - perfect for hallways and bedrooms.
The Owego sconce blends modern geometry with vintage charm. A sharply squared-off metal frame in brushed brass is softened by a round glass holder that secures a cylindrical mercury glass shade. The teardrop shape and oval backplate add a distinctive touch. Hand-blown glass and a heavy cast backplate give it a quality feel.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors, mounted at eye level for ambient light
- Bedrooms, as a reading light beside the bed
- Living rooms and dining rooms, adding a warm accent to walls
- Bathrooms and covered porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing primary illumination - this is a 60W accent sconce
- Wet locations like outdoor showers - rated for damp, not wet
How bright is it?
Uses a 60W incandescent bulb (not included) - about 800 lumens if using a standard 60W bulb. This is accent or task lighting, not a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. Dimmable with compatible bulbs and dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions: 6.75"(L) x 4.75"(W) x 16"(H). Extends 6.75" from the wall. Backplate is 4.38"(W) x 8"(H). Works well in standard-height rooms.
