Description
A 4-inch teardrop pendant from the Owego collection, finished in satin nickel with a light smoke glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Owego pendant features an organic teardrop shape suspended from a tiered metal frame, designed to showcase a single filament bulb. Its Art Deco and contemporary styling makes it a versatile choice for modern interiors. The light smoke glass shade adds a subtle, moody tint, while the satin nickel finish provides a refined contrast.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for a dramatic statement
- Dining rooms, centered above a table for focused ambient light
- Entryways and foyers, adding a sculptural accent
- Breakfast nooks and casual dining areas
- Coffee bars or home bars, providing task lighting with style
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas - it's designed for accent or task lighting
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts a single 60W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 800 lumens - comparable to a standard household bulb, suitable for accent and task lighting rather than as a sole light source for a large room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is not specified, but with a light smoke glass shade, the light will be softly diffused with a slightly cooler, atmospheric tone. For a warm, inviting feel, opt for a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright and functional to soft and intimate.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 4.75 inches in length and width, with an overall height of 11 inches. It includes 120 inches of cord that can be cut to your desired length, accommodating ceiling heights from 8 to 11 feet. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter, and the fixture is sloped ceiling compatible.
