Description
A 17-inch two-light bathroom vanity light with a matte black frame and mercury glass shades, for modern and farmhouse bathrooms.
The Owego Collection combines geometric precision with soft, hand-blown glass. The sharply squared frame is softened by round glass holders that secure teardrop-shaped mercury glass shades, creating a striking presence above any vanity. The matte black finish and mercury glass offer a contemporary yet vintage-inspired look.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 inch vanity, mounted horizontally above the mirror
- Powder rooms needing a stylish, damp-rated light source
- Modern, farmhouse, or restoration-vintage interiors
- Spaces where a warm, dimmable glow is desired
Not ideal for
- Large bathrooms requiring bright, primary lighting (this is a 2-light fixture, not a high-lumen output)
- Outdoor or wet locations (damp-rated only, not wet-rated)
- Ceilings lower than 7 feet if you prefer a flush mount (this is a wall mount)
How bright is it?
With two 60-watt maximum sockets (bulbs not included), the brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using two 60W incandescent equivalents (about 800 lumens each) yields roughly 1600 lumens, similar to a single 100W bulb. For a softer accent, choose lower-wattage LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. The mercury glass shades diffuse light, creating a soft, ambient glow. For a warm, inviting feel, use 2700K-3000K bulbs. The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7.38"L x 16.63"W x 17"H with a 7.38" extension from the wall. The backplate is 8"W x 4.38"H. This size suits most standard bathroom vanities. It is wall-mounted with a heavy cast backplate.
