Description
A single-light wall sconce from the Owego collection, featuring a matte black metal frame and a smoke glass teardrop shade, ideal for bedrooms, hallways, and living spaces.
The Owego sconce combines modern geometric design with a touch of vintage charm. The sharply squared frame is softened by a round glass holder that secures a cylindrical teardrop shade, creating a striking silhouette. The matte black finish and smoke glass add a dramatic, sophisticated touch to any interior.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed for reading or ambient light
- Hallways and corridors, adding a modern accent
- Living rooms, flanking a sofa or console table
- Dining rooms, providing soft illumination on buffets or sideboards
- Entryways, making a stylish first impression
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp locations only, not wet
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the sconce extends 6.75 inches from the wall
- Primary task lighting in large rooms, as it provides accent-level brightness
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it uses a single E12 base bulb rated for 60 watts. With a 60W equivalent LED, you can expect about 800 lumens, similar to a traditional 60W incandescent, ideal for accent or ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The smoke glass shade provides a softer, more diffused light, creating a cozy atmosphere.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 6.75 inches long, 4.75 inches wide, and 16 inches high, with an extension of 6.75 inches. The oval backplate is 4.38 inches wide and 8 inches high. Ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
