Description
A 4-inch teardrop pendant with a matte black metal frame and seedy glass shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Owego pendant features an organic teardrop shape suspended from a tiered metal frame, complemented by a single filament bulb. The hand-blown seedy glass adds texture and vintage charm, while the matte black finish grounds the design in contemporary elegance. These pendants shine individually or as part of a multi-port hanging system for a dramatic statement.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row for task lighting over a 6-8 ft island
- Dining rooms, providing ambient light above a table for 4-6 people
- Entryways and foyers, adding a sculptural accent at eye level
- Coffee bars or breakfast nooks, creating a cozy, focused glow
- Stairwells and hallways, where the adjustable cord allows for varied heights
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, due to the open bottom and glass shade
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120-inch cord extended
- Areas requiring bright, focused task lighting for detailed work
How bright is it?
With a maximum 60W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant provides about 800 lumens, similar to a standard 60W bulb. It's ideal for ambient and accent lighting, not as a primary work light.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light to your preferred warmth. With a compatible LED bulb, you can choose a color temperature from warm 2700K to cool 5000K. The seedy glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow.
