Description
A 4-inch teardrop pendant in matte black and gloss white glass, ideal for adding a contemporary Art Deco touch to kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Owego pendant features a hand-blown gloss white glass teardrop shade suspended from a tiered matte black metal frame. The white glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. Use it individually or in a cluster for a dramatic effect.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and dining tables, hung in a row or cluster for ambient task lighting
- Entryways and stairwells, adding a sculptural focal point
- Living rooms and reading nooks, providing warm accent light
- Coffee bars and breakfast counters, where a single pendant defines the space
- Sloped ceilings, thanks to its adaptable mounting
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas - it's designed for accent or task use
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With a maximum 60W bulb (not included), it provides warm accent light similar to a traditional 60W incandescent - suitable for task and ambient lighting, not as a sole room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, pair with a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The gloss white glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 4.75 inches wide and 11 inches high, with a 120-inch cord that can be cut to your desired length. It works well over kitchen islands, dining tables, and in entryways with standard 8-9 foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter.
