Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Orwell collection, finished in oil rubbed bronze with clear glass, ideal for damp-rated bathrooms and hallways.
The Orwell sconce blends industrial and transitional style with a cone-shaped clear glass shade and a sturdy steel and cast brass construction. The oil rubbed bronze finish adds a vintage touch, while the exposed ST64 vintage bulb (not included) completes the look. Rated for damp locations, it works well in bathrooms and covered outdoor areas.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 30-48 in vanity, mounted as side lighting on either side of the mirror
- Hallways and corridors needing accent lighting with a vintage feel
- Covered patios or porches where damp-rated fixtures are required

Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the fixture at eye level - the mounting center to top is 3 in, so plan placement carefully
- Direct rain or water spray - damp-rated, not wet-rated
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a recommended 60W equivalent ST64 vintage bulb, expect around 800 lumens - suitable for accent or ambient lighting in a bathroom or hallway, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The clear glass shade and exposed bulb create a warm, vintage glow. Use a 2700K-3000K bulb for a soft, incandescent-like warmth that complements the oil rubbed bronze finish. Dimmable with compatible bulbs and dimmer.

The sconce extends 8.69 in from the wall and measures 8.38 in wide by 8.75 in tall. The backplate is 4.5 in wide by 6.25 in tall. Ideal for walls with standard stud spacing; mounting center to top is 3 in.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
