Description
A 51-inch, 4-light island light in polished chrome and matte white glass, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms in damp-rated spaces.
The Orwell collection combines industrial styling with a modern transitional feel. The polished chrome frame and matte white glass shades create a clean, bright look that complements a wide range of décor. With four vintage-style bulbs (not included), this fixture provides ample task and ambient light over a kitchen island or dining table.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter for task lighting
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, centered for even illumination

- Small kitchens under 8 ft wide—the 51-inch length may overwhelm the space

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four medium-base sockets, you can use up to 60W incandescent equivalent LEDs per socket (240W total equivalent). For a typical kitchen island, 4 x 800-lumen LED bulbs (3200 lumens total) provide bright task lighting. Bulbs not included.
Light color and feel
Choose your own Kelvin temperature. For a warm, inviting feel, use 2700K-3000K bulbs. For a crisp, clean light suitable for food prep, 3500K-4000K works well. The matte white glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The fixture is 51.12 inches wide and 7.88 inches tall, with an adjustable height from 16.88 to 40.88 inches (including stem). The canopy is 6.25 x 4.5 x 1 inches. It weighs 14.95 lbs and requires a ceiling junction box rated for that weight. Sloped ceilings are adaptable.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
