A 5-light chandelier from the Orwell collection, finished in matte black with clear glass shades, designed for dining rooms and living rooms with a modern industrial aesthetic.
The Orwell chandelier combines a sleek matte black steel and cast brass frame with five clear cone-shaped glass shades, creating a dynamic silhouette that suits industrial, modern contemporary, and transitional interiors. The open cage design and vintage-style ST64 bulbs (not included) add a touch of restoration-vintage charm, while the damp location rating allows use in covered outdoor areas or bathrooms.

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With five medium-base (E26) sockets, you can install up to 60W incandescent equivalent per bulb (or LED equivalent), producing roughly 4000-5000 lumens total – enough to serve as the primary light source for a medium-sized dining or living room. For a softer ambient glow, use lower-wattage vintage bulbs.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is your choice. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs to complement the matte black and clear glass. The clear shades provide unobstructed light, making the bulb shape and filament visible – ideal for decorative ST64 bulbs.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. We recommend five medium-base ST64 vintage-style bulbs (sold separately).
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture itself is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer rated for the total wattage.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? Yes, it is rated for damp locations, so it can be installed in bathrooms (away from direct water spray) or under a covered patio. Not suitable for wet locations exposed to rain.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped. To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
