Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Orwell collection, finished in matte black with a matte white glass shade, designed for damp-rated indoor spaces like entryways and hallways.
The Orwell sconce blends industrial style with modern versatility. Its heavy cast steel and brass construction gives it a sturdy, contemporary look, while the matte white cone-shaped glass shade softens the light. The matte black finish pairs well with both vintage and transitional decor. Customize the look with interchangeable shades from the Franklin and Ballston collections.

How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. The sconce accepts one medium-base (E26) bulb up to 60W incandescent equivalent. With a 60W equivalent LED bulb, expect around 800 lumens—similar to a traditional 60W bulb, suitable for accent or ambient lighting in a hallway or bathroom. For a dimmer effect, use a 40W equivalent (about 450 lumens).
Light color and feel
The matte white glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, even glow. For a cozy, vintage feel, pair with a ST64-shaped bulb (recommended) in warm white (2700K-3000K). The fixture is dimmable when used with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
