Description
A 26-inch, 6-light chandelier from the Newton Sphere collection, finished in polished nickel with seedy glass globe shades, for dining rooms and kitchen islands.
The Newton Sphere collection brings modern industrial style with architectural details and iconic globe-shaped shades. This chandelier features hand-blown seedy glass orbs that diffuse light beautifully, creating a warm, inviting ambiance. The polished nickel finish adds a touch of elegance, making it a versatile centerpiece for farmhouse, industrial, or restoration-style interiors.
Best for
- Dining rooms with tables 48-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a 6-8 foot island
- Open-concept living areas where a statement fixture is needed
- Entryways with two-story ceilings, using the included stems for adjustable height
- Bedrooms with high ceilings, as a dramatic ambient light source
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 46.75-inch hanging length
- Spaces requiring a flush mount - this is a hanging chandelier
How bright is it?
This chandelier uses six bulbs (not included) with a maximum of 100 watts per socket. With LED bulbs, you can achieve 800-1000 lumens per bulb, making it bright enough for a primary dining or kitchen light. The actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
The seedy glass shades soften and diffuse light, creating a warm, ambient glow. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a soft, intimate setting. The color temperature will depend on the bulbs you select; warm white (2700K-3000K) is recommended for a cozy feel.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 26 inches long, 26 inches wide, and 16 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 22.75 to 46.75 inches using the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch). The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. This chandelier is suitable for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings when hung at the minimum height, and works well with sloped or vaulted ceilings thanks to the included 90-degree swivel.
