Description
A 5-light linear pendant from Innovations Lighting's Newton Sphere collection, finished in brushed brass with seedy glass shades, for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Newton Sphere linear pendant brings modern industrial style with its iconic globe-shaped shades. The brushed brass finish and seedy glass create a warm, textured look. Each shade is easily removable for cleaning, and the pendants can be hung at staggered heights for a customized appearance.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, providing focused task lighting over a 6-8 ft counter
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, offering ambient light over a table
- Large entryways and foyers, making a statement with its linear design
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Open-concept living areas, defining zones with its architectural presence
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 130.75-inch hanging length
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft - the 39.75-inch width may overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to 100W, and with 5 bulbs, the total output can reach up to 500W (or equivalent LED). Bulbs are not included, so lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose. For reference, 5 x 60W incandescent bulbs would produce about 5000 lumens, suitable for a large kitchen or dining area.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting feel, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The seedy glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 8 inches long, 39.75 inches wide, and 9.13 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 22.75 to 130.75 inches. The canopy is 36 inches wide. Works well over a 6-8 ft island or table. Sloped ceiling compatible.
