Description
A 52-inch, 4-light linear pendant from the Newton Sphere collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with seedy glass shades - ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
This modern industrial pendant features a sleek brushed satin nickel frame with four globe-shaped seedy glass shades, adding architectural detail and a vintage-inspired touch. The shades are easily removed for cleaning via oversized thumb screws. The pendant comes with 120 inches of textured cord per pendant, which can be cut to your desired length, and can be hung at staggered heights for a customized look. It is sloped ceiling compatible and dimmable.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the countertop
- Dining rooms over a 6-8 ft table, providing ambient and task light
- Open-concept living areas where a statement light is needed
- Covered patios or sunrooms, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Homes with sloped ceilings, as it is sloped ceiling adaptable
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens under 8 ft wide - the 52-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 8 ft, as the minimum hanging height is 22.75 inches
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this is rated for damp, not wet, locations
How bright is it?
With four 100W incandescent sockets (bulbs not included), this fixture can produce up to 6,000 lumens if using 100W equivalent LED bulbs - bright enough for a primary kitchen or dining light. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose; LED or CFL bulbs can achieve similar light output at lower wattage.
Light color and feel
The fixture itself does not emit light; the color temperature is determined by the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow, choose 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The seedy glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 8"(L) x 51.75"(W) x 9.13"(H). The height is adjustable from 22.75 to 130.75 inches, making it suitable for ceilings 8-12 ft. The canopy is 5.38"(L) x 48"(W) x 1.63"(H). This fixture weighs 34.6 lbs and requires partial assembly.
