Description
A 4-light globe pendant from the Newton Sphere collection, finished in polished nickel with white glass shades, for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Newton Sphere brings modern industrial style with architectural details and iconic globe-shaped shades. The white glass shades contrast beautifully with the polished nickel frame, creating a striking focal point. This pendant is sloped ceiling compatible and can be hung at staggered heights for a customized look.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms over a 6-8 ft table, providing warm, even illumination
- Open-plan living areas where a statement pendant defines the space
- Entryways with 9-10 ft ceilings, adding architectural interest
- Covered patios or porches, rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - damp rated, not wet rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 120 in cord length
- Rooms needing a single bright task light - this is an ambient/accent fixture
How bright is it?
With four 100W incandescent bulbs (not included), this pendant can produce up to 6000 lumens - bright enough for a large kitchen island or dining area. If using LED bulbs, brightness will vary; check the lumen output of your chosen bulbs.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust from bright task lighting to a warm, intimate glow. The white glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare. For a warm, inviting feel, use 2700K-3000K bulbs.
