Description
A modern industrial mini pendant with a hand-blown mercury glass cone shade, finished in champagne bronze - ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Newton Cone pendant brings architectural detail to your space with its striking cone-shaped glass shade. The champagne bronze finish and mercury glass create a vintage yet contemporary look, perfect for farmhouse or industrial interiors. The glass shade is easily removable for cleaning, and the included stems allow for customizable hanging lengths.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms and eat-in kitchens, providing focused light over tables
- Entryways and hallways, adding a statement piece at eye level
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Living rooms and reading nooks, as a decorative accent light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it is not wet-rated for open water contact
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a longer hanging length - the minimum height is 18 inches
- Primary room lighting in large open areas - this is a mini pendant, best for focused or accent lighting
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which typically produces around 1600 lumens - comparable to a bright reading lamp or a small ceiling light. It's suitable for task lighting over a counter or table, but not as a sole light source for a large room.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a cozy ambiance. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 8 inches in diameter and 11.38 inches in height. With the included stems, the hanging length can be adjusted from 18.13 to 42.13 inches, making it suitable for most ceiling heights. The circular canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is sloped ceiling compatible, and the stems match the champagne bronze finish.
