Description
A cone-shaped pendant with a mercury glass shade, finished in satin nickel, perfect for adding industrial charm to kitchens and dining areas.
The Newton Cone pendant combines modern industrial design with architectural details. Its cone-shaped mercury glass shade creates a striking visual, while the satin nickel finish adds a timeless appeal. The textured cord allows for flexible hanging heights, making it a versatile choice for various spaces.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung in a row for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms, providing ambient light over a table
- Entryways and hallways, as a statement piece
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Living rooms and bedrooms, as a decorative accent near seating areas
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces with low ceilings if you need a short drop, as the minimum hanging height is 13.13 inches
- Areas requiring bright, focused task lighting, as a single 100W bulb provides moderate illumination
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to about 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for ambient and accent lighting, but not as a primary light source for large rooms.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood. For a warm, incandescent-like glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 8 inches wide and 9.38 inches high, with an adjustable hanging height from 13.13 to 130.13 inches using the included 120-inch cord. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 4.55 lbs. It suits most standard ceilings and is sloped-ceiling compatible.
