Description
A 26-inch, 6-light chandelier from the Newton Cone collection, finished in satin nickel with clear cone-shaped glass shades - ideal for dining rooms and kitchen islands.
The Newton Cone brings a modern industrial aesthetic to your home with its striking cone-shaped glass shades and clean architectural lines. The satin nickel finish over metal offers a sleek, contemporary look, while the clear glass allows the bulbs to shine through for a bright, inviting glow. This restoration-inspired fixture is a versatile choice for both traditional and modern interiors.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table 48-72 inches long, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a 6-8 foot island
- Open-concept living areas where a statement chandelier anchors the room
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 9 feet or higher
- Farmhouse or industrial-style homes seeking a vintage-inspired focal point
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 22.75 inches
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small powder rooms where a 26-inch width would overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but with six medium-base sockets rated for 100W each, it can accommodate up to 600W of incandescent or LED bulbs. This provides ample illumination for a dining room or kitchen island, easily serving as the primary light source.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, pair with ST64 vintage-style LED bulbs in 2700K-3000K. The clear glass shades allow the light to pass through unobstructed, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmable bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
This chandelier measures 26 inches long, 26 inches wide, and 16 inches high. The hanging height is adjustable from 22.75 to 46.75 inches, making it suitable for ceilings 8 feet and higher. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs 6 lbs. It is sloped ceiling adaptable, so it works on angled ceilings.
