Best for
- Kitchen islands measuring 6 to 8 feet wide, hung 30-36 inches above the countertop
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, providing focused ambient light
- Open-concept living spaces where a statement light is needed
- Covered patios or porches, thanks to its damp location rating
- Homes with sloped ceilings, as it is compatible
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp, not wet, locations
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 23.5 inches
- Spaces requiring a flush mount, as this is a pendant
How bright is it?
This fixture uses four medium base bulbs (not included) with a recommended ST64 shape. The brightness depends on the bulbs you choose; with 100W incandescent equivalents, you can expect about 220 lumens per bulb, totaling around 880 lumens - suitable for ambient lighting in a kitchen or dining area, but not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
The fixture itself does not determine color temperature; it depends on the bulbs you install. For a warm, inviting glow, choose bulbs with a color temperature around 2700K-3000K. The white glass shades will diffuse the light, creating a soft, ambient effect.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 51.75 inches wide and 9.88 inches high, with an adjustable height range of 23.5 to 131.5 inches. It includes 120 inches of cord per pendant, which can be cut to your desired length. Ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher.
