Description
A modern industrial 8-inch flush mount with a matte black finish and mercury glass cone shade, perfect for hallways, bedrooms, and entryways.
The Newton Cone collection from Innovations Lighting features a striking cone-shaped shade that adds architectural interest to any room. The matte black metal canopy contrasts beautifully with the hand-blown mercury glass, creating a timeless yet contemporary look. This flush mount is damp rated, making it suitable for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors with 8-foot ceilings
- Bedrooms as a primary light source or accent
- Entryways and foyers
- Bathrooms with vanities, thanks to its damp rating
- Farmhouse or industrial-style interiors
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, widespread illumination - this is a single-light fixture
- Sloped ceilings - not adaptable
- Outdoor areas with direct rain exposure - damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
With one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to 1600 lumens if using an LED equivalent - enough for ambient lighting in a small to medium room, but not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is not specified, but with a warm LED or incandescent bulb, expect a cozy, inviting glow. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 8 inches in diameter and 12.5 inches in height. It mounts flush to the ceiling with a 4.5-inch canopy. Suitable for ceilings of all heights.
