Description
A 1-light cone-shaped pendant from the Newton Cone collection, finished in champagne bronze with a mercury glass shade, perfect for adding industrial charm to kitchens and dining areas.
The Newton Cone pendant is a modern industrial fixture that combines architectural details with a striking cone-shaped shade. The champagne bronze finish and mercury glass shade create a timeless, vintage-inspired look. The hand-blown glass shade is easily removable for cleaning, and the included stems allow for customizable hanging lengths.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, providing focused task lighting over a 3-5 ft counter.
- Dining rooms, hung 30-36 inches above the table for ambient illumination.
- Entryways and foyers, adding a statement piece with warm, inviting light.
- Living rooms with high ceilings, as a central focal point.
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction.
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, as it is rated for damp locations, not wet locations.
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is 23.75 inches.
- Rooms requiring bright, task-oriented lighting, as this fixture provides only 100W equivalent output.
How bright is it?
The fixture is rated for a maximum 100W bulb, which typically provides around 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb. This is suitable for ambient and accent lighting, but not as a primary work light.
Light color and feel
The fixture is compatible with incandescent, LED, fluorescent, and halogen bulbs. The recommended ST64 bulb shape provides a vintage aesthetic. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 14 inches wide and 19.13 inches high, with a canopy of 4.5 inches in diameter. It is adjustable from 23.75 to 47.75 inches in height, making it suitable for ceilings from 8 to 10 feet. The fixture is sloped ceiling adaptable.
